Andrew Gaule
Gerard Keenan Principal Physiotherapist
Gerry qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Ulster (Jordanstown) in 1996. After working for several years in the health service and in private practice, he opened the Dunshaughlin Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic in 2002.
Over the past 2 decades, Gerry has grown the clinic into a centre of excellence in muscular skeletal therapy. In addition to clinical direction, Gerry now dedicates his time to ensuring all of his staff develop the same level of expertise in MSK and in the expert treatment of back, neck and shoulder pain, as well as branching out into their own preferred specialisms.

Toby Smith, BSc Physiotherapy, MISCP
Chartered Physiotherapist
I am currently working to earn qualifications in Pilates and Strength & Conditioning and I bring a broad understanding of exercise and its role in treating and preventing injuries. I have gained experience in a variety of settings, working with professional dancers and footballers in a sports clinic in London, to more recently working in a large step-down facility in Beaumont, where I treated a variety of orthopaedic, neurological and respiratory conditions. I have worked with both acute injuries and more chronic pain, and manage both with a mixture of hands-on manual therapy and rehabilitation programs.
Specialism: Neck Pain, Back Pain, Knee and Shoulder Injuries
When I’m not at work, I have a keen interest in athletics so I’ll be watching the latest competition or out for a run myself. I also enjoy strength training and yoga, and have competed in a number of obstacle races.
Otherwise, I’ll be back home in Cavan, out hiking, cooking or with my head stuck in a good book.

Susanna Ujetto, BSc Physiotherapy MISCP
Chartered Physiotherapist
Originally from Italy, I am a dedicated Physiotherapist with experience working with both acute and chronic patients in neurological and cardiorespiratory settings. I also had the opportunity to work within a FIFA medical centre of excellence in Italy, supporting athletes in their recovery and performance.
Alongside physiotherapy, I am a certified Reformer Pilates teacher and soon to be qualified in Mat Pilates as well. I am particularly passionate about women’s health and I am currently pursuing further training as a Pelvic Floor Therapist.
Exercise is one of my greatest passions. Whether in the gym or on the reformer, I believe movement is the key for feeling more energetic, happier, and healthier. I love sharing this enthusiasm with others, inspiring them to enjoy the benefits of physical activity in their daily lives.
I’ve been dancing since I was three and I love skiing. Movement has always been a big part of my life. That passion is what inspired me to become a physiotherapist, helping others get back to doing what they love. And if you need recommendations, I can offer great exercises to improve mobility or a few stretches to prepare you for a five-course pasta feast on your next trip to Italy.
In my free time, I love exploring my creative side through arts and crafts such as crochet, challenging myself with sudoku, and travelling the world to discover new culture and new people.
And as for the clinic? Well, I like to think of it as a place where hard work meets good humour, after all, all laughter might not replace exercise…. but it’s a pretty good warm-up!
